Garnier Fructis Color Shield Products Follow-Up

As per the previous post about the Garnier Fructis Color Shield products, this is a little follow-up about the products that I tried.  They worked great with regards to my colour.  They helped to prevent damage and fading due to the sun.  I probably won't be using them much past this as they don't totally help to control my frizz issue.  However, I would recommend them for anyone who has normal hair and colours it.  The products do a great job in helping to maintain your colouring.
Again, I received these products for free for testing purposes from Influenster.

Garnier Fructis Color Shield Products

In my second VoxBox that I have received from Influenster, I was given 3 products from the Garnier Fructis Color Shield product line to try out.  These were given complimentary for testing purposes.
Usually I use a shampoo, conditioner, & leave-in treatment designed for curly/frizzy hair and I neglect the colouring aspect of my hair.  So when given this opportunity to try out these products I thought ‘why not?’.
To begin with, why do I colour my hair?
Easy answer is to cover up the grey that like to pop up in my hair.  Also to give my hair a little extra dimension, as I have very fine hair that’s curly.
It’s really important that my hair colour lasts as long as possible because, with 3 kids under 4, there’s not a lot of time to get my hair done and it’s not always in the finances to have it done also.  The biggest threat to the upkeep of my hair colour is mainly the sun.

The above picture is of me and my 3 year old daughter just before playing outside on a sunny day.
So far I’ve tried these products for 2 days and have found that my hair is so much softer and my hair seems to have locked-in its colour and not faded while being out in the sun.  The Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner smell amazing and make my hair feel great.  The Garnier Fructis Shine & Care Spray works nicely, however, it doesn’t like to help my curls very much so I have to use my normal leave-in treatment along with it to help tame the frizz.  I will more than likely buy the Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner, but not the Shine & Care Spray.
So far, I Rosalee Roberts give my “shield of approval” on these products.
I will write another update on using these products in a few weeks just as a follow-up on how they maintain my colouring.

Broadway imPress Press-on Manicure

In my first VoxBox that I received from Influenster, I was given 2 Broadway imPress press-on manicures to try out.  These were complimentary for testing purposes.

Now I'm not a big fan of press-on nails, but these nails have sold me on press-ons.  They were very easy to use and they look great.  It took me about 5 minutes or less to find the right sizes and put them on.

I wouldn't wear them for daily use, but for a special occasion I would definitely purchase them.  They are affordable, between $8.99-10.99 per pack, and they don't damage your nails when removed.  I did put them to the test for holding on, as I'm constantly washing my hands and doing various activities with having 3 children.

Introduction

I have decided to make this blog to tell about my Influenster experiences.  www.influenster.com is a website where you can write reviews about products and also get the opportunity to try out products.  I have been a member since November 2013.  So this blog is to tell about any opportunities I have been given by Influenster to test any products that they send to me.
Just a little about myself.  I am a married, stay at home mom of three, one 3 year old and two 1 year old twins, all girls.  Before getting married I worked in South Korea as an English teacher at an academy for 2 years.  I came home and got married and then went off to teach in South Korea for another year with my husband.  We came back home and then started to settle down.
I got a job working at a daycare.  We purchased our first house and planned to have a family.  After the birth of our first daughter I took a year off and then went back to work.  We planned on having another child soon after my return to work and ended up with twins.  We had to move to a bigger house and so we did.  With the birth of our twin girls it was clear that I wouldn't be returning to work, so now I'm a stay at home mom.
